In the last 2 weeks more than 100,000 new oil spill claims has been filed by residents in Florida, Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana. Since October 4 when Mr. Feinberg head of the oil spill fund said that proximity to the oil spill is not necessary a factor if an oil spill claim will be approved for payment or not. This has open up the gates for almost anybody facing economic hardship right now to file a oil spill claim. The reason simply being that most of what goes on in Florida is somehow related to the 65 billion dollar tourist industry. If everybody related to the 65 billion dollar annual tourist industry files a claim with BP the oil spill fund will be 45 billion dollar short of paying the oil spill claims out. Its a good thing that Mr. Feinberg works for BP so he can put a stop to the out flow of money from the oil spill fund. Not really but weired never the less that he is employed by BP and handling the claims form victims of the oil spill in a government run fund ?

But tell that to the creditors of the business that has to now close down because relief money is not flowing from the oil spill fund to the people and companies that really need that money.
